Zziplex M4 EVO design philosophy in the tip section features a higher ratio of carbon fibre to glass content than its GT cousin, and this alters the action and recovery, but it still retains good bite indication.
The action of M4 EVO is suitable for clean, medium to medium hard ground, stormy seas and calm conditions: it is supremely versatile. The carbon tip is quick and decisive but still reacts well to rattle and indicative bites. The overall battle curve under pressure is more parabolic and the loadings through compression, in cast and retrieve, are passed quickly to the more powerful areas of the butt for distance and control.

A close cousin to Profile GT and built on identical mandrel tooling. This iteration of Profile design concept has a full carbon tip which is reactive, positive and has excellent bite indication.
The tip has an innovative resin matrix and composite fibre design that exploits the best of the lightness and power to weight ratio a carbon fibre tip can deliver. The composite ply architecture gives an edge to distance aspirations when conditions become testing. There is depth and breadth in the design and the use of carefully selected materials reflects the designer’s extensive knowledge and experience in long range casting, with very low diameter rods.

This legendary rod is renowned for low diameter, superb power to weight ratio with a light, super sensitive glass tip. One of Terry’s masterpieces. The subtle blending of the glass upper tip into the carbon fibre makes this rod ideal for casting soft and delicate baits off the tip – long distances. When the barrel and butt is accessed with more powerful casts, it delivers impressive distances with the full range of bait and weight packages between 100grams – 180grams.
The tip works the waves well due to its sweet action.
